Hiya and welcome to my corner of the internet! This is a place of creativity, experimentation, and spiritual expression. I’m Ellaura (El-laura) and from the moment I could hold a crayon I’ve been creating artwork.
In 2015 I graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from Rocky Mountain College Of Art & Design. My degree was focused in animation, but I’ve learned throughout the years that I have a passion for graphic design as well.
I followed this passion and completed my graphic design certification May 2021! I enjoy working with businesses who work with animals and children, my joys. These are the things that are close to my heart and what rules my creative inspiration!
I'm a mother of two, a wife, and animal lover with a miniature poodle and a sassy cat. I love tea, baking, drawing, crafting, and Jesus. Creating designs I adore seeing on my own family and in my life is my passion.
Animals and children are a true blessing and can find joy so innocently everywhere and in almost any moment. This is something I like to think about when working on design and illustration problems. Finding the silver lining in every moment, and capture that innocence in my work.
My Artistic Style & How I can help you:
Art is a combination of observation, technique, and pleasure. What’s most important is observation, in my opinion. The still quiet moments where you can visually study something and look at it through each of your five senses. A time where you can let everything go and experience this moment that’s happening RIGHT NOW. That is true living! I love experimenting and finding the right ingredients to express my visions and bring them to life.
The style of my artwork leans towards cute, whimsical, feminine, playful, modern etc., but I’ve worked with collectors that require a bit more serious in their designs. Both can be a lot of fun to create for. The main thing I look for in a potential client is what emotions they want to bring into their lives.
This is an exciting and fun process, and that’s how I want it to feel for both of us. When it comes to design I love to create something that feels playful and grabs the viewers attention. Let’s attract playfulness together!
